We currently offer services for elderly, dementia and various degrees of learning disabilities. At Kelvedon each service user is a special individual.

Kelvedon House is a new purpose built luxury residential home situated at the heart of a thriving community and excellent transport links. Kelvedon House offers very comfortable and up to date facilities, carefully designed to meet the needs of the elderly residents and encourage and promote independence and dignity. The home is situated in a community environment and has strong links with local schools and places of worship. The environment and facilities enhance the experiences of individuals who live there.
Kelvedon House is a Residential Care Home providing residential care for 35 elderly persons with Dementia. Within Kelvedon House there are 2 separate units – Wesley Court and Knowles Court, registered to provide support and care for 13 adults with learning difficulties receiving 24 hour care. 
There are three garden areas specially designed for the elderly service user with sensory planting and seating. One area is accessible via passenger lifts. The second is accessible directly from the main entrance.
Knowles Court is a modern spacious family environment, each bedroom boasts a full wet room en-suite. Knowles Court provides technologies which encourage and promote independence and dignity. It is registered for 7 adults with learning disabilities and provides wheelchair access to all areas. It is situated in a community environment and has strong links with local schools and places of worship. The environment and facilities enhance the experiences of individuals who live there. The staff team at Knowles Court aim to provide the highest standards of care and support. Our aim is to assist and encourage individuals to achieve their maximum potential.
Knowles Court is part of Kelvedon House, however completely separate in positioning. Wesley Court co-exists with Knowles Court in providing residential care for adults with learning disabilities. These two homes are linked by a communal area that boasts a sensory room and hydrotherapy pool, both with ceiling tracking hoists.
Knowles Court is in a ideal location for transport links with both the M6 and M5 a short distance away, along with local train stations and other sources of public transport. The home is situated in a well sought after residential area of Wednesbury overlooking Brunswick Park which hosts many events throughout the year.
Knowles Court is on the ground floor and offers wheelchair access, communal areas have an open plan feel. The kitchen has been equipped to accommodate wheelchair users. There are 2 lounge areas offering the ability to do 1:1 activities in a private space. The outdoor space consists of a sensory garden which again is fully accessible to non ambulant service users.
To assist individuals to understand their environment and thus promote independence, bespoke specialist signage has been incorporated.
Wesley Court is a modern purpose built environment supporting adults with learning disabilities with physical and/or sensory disabilities. It encorporates modern technologies to enable residents to achieve their maximum potentials. It also includes a private sensory garden. Wesley Court is a brand new facility providing technologies that encourage and promote independence and dignity. It is registered for 6 adults with complex needs. The environment and facilities, enhance the experiences of individuals who live there. The staff team at Wesley Court, aim to provide the highest standards of care and support. Their aims are to assist and encourage individuals to achieve their maximum potential.

All bedrooms have luxurious en-suite facilities with wet rooms and hydraulic shower tables. To complement this and to ensure we are providing the optimum environment for enablement of residents, each bedroom has ceiling tracking hoist systems which can assist residents to move from bed to the en-suite/shower table.

Kelvedon House believes in team work. We believe in working in a multi-disciplinary way, achieving greater results for the individuals whom we support. We believe that training staff to high standards will provide them with the correct knowledge and skills to meet the needs of the service. We wish to create a relationship with individuals and their significant others of which we encourage their voice and opinion.

At Kelvedon House we have two kitchens; a main commercial kitchen and a smaller kitchen. The Chef will ensure that the home cooked meals are varied, balanced and of an excellent standard.
The second kitchen can be utilised by service users following risk assessment.

All services users have the use of specialist Abacus baths. Nurse call systems are in place across the home. Recognised signage for individuals with dementia is present across the Dementia floors.
Passenger lifts are present across the home allowing access to gardens and other floors.
The home has a dedicated hairdressing salon which can also offer alternative therapies.
We have a Reminiscence room located on the Dementia floors which stimulates memory and communication.
There is a Sensory room located on the lower ground floor which can be utilised by all services.
An activities coordinator works across the home ensuring that all service users have activity plans that are suitable for them. Along with group activities there are also 1:1 activities.
There is a specialist minibus available for the service users.
The Hydrotherapy Pool has full qualified staff and is available to all service users and can also be hired, please contact Kelvedon House for more information
Residential residents occupy one floor with their own facilities including dining/lounge area. There is one double room available for the purpose of couples who wish to share. All bedrooms have been furnished to the highest standard with telephone/TV points available. All bedrooms have luxurious en-suite facilities. Residents are encouraged to personalise their bedrooms. The outdoor space consists of a sensory garden which again is fully accessible to non ambulant individuals.

All individuals wishing to use respite or permanent residency at Kelvedon House will be assessed by a senior member of staff. From this information a detailed fee will be provided. (more information relation relating to fees and what is included can be discussed with the management team).
